OSYS has access to over twenty years of experience in design and deployment of mobile data and communications systems in the service, emergency and utility sectors. Our work is divided between independent consultancy, system troubleshooting, and specialist design/support for large corporate clients who deliver, or plan to deliver, mobile IT systems to their field workforce.

We help with all aspects of their project, working with their staff and chosen main suppliers to resolve issues and, in some cases to design specialist parts which are needed to make the system fully effective. With more mature mobile projects, we often take a key role in support, and in the detail of vehicle mounting and hand-held ergonomics.

We have access to a wide range of contacts, both suppliers, and expert consultants, so can be an entry point to resolving most mobile data problems.

We provide secretariat services to the Mobile Computer Users Group, an independent user body of corporate mobile data users.

We have special expertise and innovative solutions to make existing mobile communications systems more robust, reliable, secure, and cost effective.

As much of our work is bespoke, and we make strong contributions to clients who are at the planning and thinking stage, where we can signpost some of the possible project pitfalls and share ideas and experience..
